The flagship wine of the estate: Te Motu is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, hand-harvested from low-yielding vines.

Tasting Notes:

A fulsome and robust blend with a full bouquet of blackberry and plum with secondary notes of earth, herbs and game. On the palate smoke and toasty oak with dark red and black berried fruits, cassis and typical game and savouriness expected by a wine of this age. Soft in the body and palate but still with lively acidity. Drinking beautifully now.
